Tedford Built this Club!

As an alum, I just can't believe that someone would post anything negative about Coach Tedford.

I am a '96 graduate, and let me tell you...Coach Tedford came into Berkeley at one of the lowest points in this school's football history.  To see how he has developed this program is completely amazing.  Look around the NFL and you can't help but to see former Cal stars all over the place now.  Back in '96, that was a pipe dream.

Our former stars aren't just run of the mill NFL players either, they are in leading roles and contributing to their team...even in their rookie years.  There is no better guage of how well Coach Tedford develops our young players than to see how well they adapt to their professional roles in the NFL.

We Golden Bears know just how painful the past was and what a paradise the past 10+ years have been with Coach Tedford.  If you are reading Coach, thanks so much.  It is fun to have an alma-mater with a football program that has had a legitimate shot at the big stage for the past several years.

Of course the media rarely takes a chance at talking up our Golden Bears, and when they have, they have brutally punished us in the rankings when we didn't live up to expectations.  So this year we get the media's back...no problem, us Golden Bears are better when we can sneak up on our opponents anyway.
